Good afternoon guys, just an update on my 2 new pets and future projects.
I recently bought a roboski hamster who has been a bit shy in the past few days. It might be from travel shock but I think he will become better. I have been interacting more with him lately and he is comfortable with hand feeding but does not prefer to be held too much. He loves to exercise and runs on his wheel all throughout the night as he is nocturnal.
Hammy is a peaceful and wonderful creature to have in the house but even then, in the long holidays, something vibrant was missing in the house. That is why I started on my next project, a complete rainforest lake vivarium with exotic fish. That is when I built this tropical aquarium with neon tetras, Mickey Mouse platies and pleco fish to keep the tank clean. It also rains in the tank due to a high pressure sprinkler and a fog machine.
I think the tank also kind of looks empty so I will be upgrading this simple setup into a pauludarirum with a working waterfall, pond minnows and frogs.
